Welcome to RvN Forge.

By placing an order through the RvN Forge website, you agree to these Terms of Service.

These terms apply to purchases made through our website and should be read together with our Returns & Refunds Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. About RvN Forge

RvN Forge creates and sells personalised and handcrafted products.

Many of our products are personalised using photographs, names, dates, messages or other information supplied by the customer.

Because personalised products are created specifically for each customer, it is important that you check your order details carefully before placing your order.

2. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information required to produce your product.

This includes:

  • Names and spelling

  • Dates

  • Messages

  • Photographs

  • Images

  • Personalisation details

  • Design instructions

RvN Forge is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer where the product is produced according to that information.

3. Personalised Products

Personalised products are made specifically for the customer who places the order.

Once production of a personalised order has started, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded because the customer has changed their mind.

Personalised products cannot be returned simply because the customer:

  • No longer wants the product

  • Has changed their mind

  • Dislikes their choice of photograph

  • Dislikes their chosen wording

  • Changes their preferences after production

  • Expected a different appearance despite the product being produced according to the approved design

This does not affect any statutory consumer rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or incorrectly described products.

4. Customer Approval

Where a product requires customer approval of a design or proof, production will begin only after the customer has approved the final design.

The customer is responsible for carefully checking the approved design before production begins.

This includes checking:

  • Names

  • Spelling

  • Dates

  • Messages

  • Photographs

  • Layout

  • Design details

  • Any other information shown in the approved design

Once the customer has approved the final design, RvN Forge will produce the item according to that approved design.

If the approved design contains an error that originated from information supplied or approved by the customer, RvN Forge is not responsible for that error.

If RvN Forge makes an error when producing the product that differs from the approved design, the customer retains their statutory rights.

5. Photographs and Customer Content

The customer confirms that they have the right to provide any photographs, images, text or other content submitted for use in their order.

The customer must not submit content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy rights or other legal rights.

RvN Forge may refuse an order where the submitted content is unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, abusive or otherwise inappropriate for production.

6. Product Appearance

Our products are handcrafted and may contain natural variations in materials, texture, colour, grain or finish.

Where natural materials are used, such variations are characteristics of the material and are not considered defects.

Printed and engraved products may also show minor variations caused by the characteristics of the material, printing process, engraving process or display settings.

Product photographs on the website are provided as a representation of the product. The finished product may contain minor variations while remaining consistent with the product description and approved design.

7. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

If RvN Forge is unable to fulfil an order after it has been placed, we will contact the customer and provide the appropriate resolution, including a refund where required.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing, description or availability errors displayed on the website.

8. Prices and Payment

All prices displayed on the website are stated in pounds sterling (£).

RvN Forge reserves the right to change product prices, promotions and delivery charges at any time without prior notice. Any price change will apply to future orders only.

The price applicable to an order is the price displayed at the time the customer completes the purchase.

Once an order has been successfully placed and payment has been accepted, the agreed price for that order will not be changed.

If a genuine pricing error affects an order, RvN Forge reserves the right to contact the customer before production begins to correct the error or cancel the affected order and provide a full refund.

Payment must be successfully received before production begins.

9. Production and Delivery

Production and delivery times are described in our Shipping Policy.

Production begins after all information required to produce the order has been received and, where applicable, the final design has been approved.

Delivery times are estimates provided by the delivery service and are not guaranteed where delays are caused by circumstances outside RvN Forge's control.

This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.

10. Returns, Refunds and Faulty Products

Returns, refunds, cancellations and issues relating to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or incorrectly produced products are covered by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

The Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms of Service.

Nothing in either policy removes, restricts or limits the customer's statutory consumer rights.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the RvN Forge website, including but not limited to:

  • Logos

  • Branding

  • Product photographs

  • Graphics

  • Designs

  • Written content

  • Product descriptions

  • Website imagery

belongs to RvN Forge or is used with appropriate permission.

This content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or commercially used without prior written permission.

12. Customer Photographs and Designs

Photographs and personal content supplied by customers remain the property of the customer or their respective rights holder.

By placing an order, the customer grants RvN Forge permission to use the supplied content solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order.

RvN Forge will not use customer photographs for marketing or promotional purposes without the customer's permission.

13. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information on the website are accurate.

If a genuine error affects an order, we will contact the customer and provide the appropriate resolution.

Nothing in these Terms limits the customer's statutory rights.

14. Changes to Products and Website

RvN Forge may update product designs, descriptions, materials, packaging or website content from time to time.

Any changes made after an order has been placed will not alter the agreed product or price for that order unless the customer agrees to the change.

15. Events Outside Our Control

RvN Forge is not responsible for delays or failure to perform an obligation where the cause is outside our reasonable control.

This may include events such as:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Fire

  • Power outages

  • Equipment failure caused by external events

  • Postal or courier disruption

  • Strikes

  • Government restrictions

  • Other events beyond our reasonable control

Where such an event affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep the customer informed.

Nothing in this section removes or limits the customer's statutory rights.

16. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms of Service removes, restricts or limits your statutory consumer rights.

Products supplied by RvN Forge must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.

Where a product does not meet these requirements, the customer's statutory rights and remedies apply.

17. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you will also retain any mandatory protections provided by the law applicable to you that cannot legally be excluded.
